Final Report of the 16th East China Fair(2006 Shanghai)
一、
概况Briefing
第16届中国华东进出口商品交易会于2006年3月1日至6日在上海新国际博览中心举行。
展览总面积为10.35万平方米，比上届增加28。57％。设服装、家用纺织品、装饰礼品和日
用消费品四个展区。设置标准展位5346个，参展企业3540余家。在6天的展期中，到会境外
客商共计23，660人，比上届增长15.08％。
成交金额33.21亿美元，比上届增长11.68％。
The 16th East China Fair (2006 Shanghai) was held in Shanghai
New Interna-
tional Expo Center from March 1st to 6th 2006. The exhibition halls were
separated into four parts as Garments,
Home Textiles, Art Deco Gifts and
Consumer Goods, covering an area of 103,500 square meters and having 3,540
exhibitors with 5,346 standard booths in the fair. It received 23,660 merchants
from overseas, up 15.08% over the previous year. Within the 6 show days, the
total amount of trade deals was US＄3,321
millions,up 11.68%.
二、 境外客商分析 Overseas Merchant Analysis
本届华交会共计接待境外客商23,660人，来自142个国家和地区。其中亚洲到会客商
高居首位， 到会 15,754人，比上届增长12.21%。欧洲、北美洲到会客商增长较快，欧洲
到会客商3917人，比上届增长20.33％；
北美洲到会客商2816人，增长29.41％。
在光临本届华交会的国际买家中，还有来自20个国家的由政府部门或专业协会专门
组织的107个洽谈团组，团组人数比上届增长15.4％。
The 16th ECF attracted 23,660 overseas merchants, who come
from 142 countries
and regions. As statistics, 15,754 Asian merchants came to the Fair, which was
the largest group, went up 12.21% over last year. By comparison with
ECF 2005,
the merchants come from Europe and North America have been growing dramatically,
3917 of them were from Europe (20.33% increased), 2816 from North America
(29.41% increased).
Among them,107 delegations organized by 20 foreign governments
and
associations came to ECF for purchase
and negotiation, a rise of 15.4% to the
last year.

三、 参展商分析 Exhibitor Analysis
本届华交会设置标准展位5346个，参展企业3540余家。参加本届华交会的展商由9个
主办省市交易团、3个组团城市交易团、联合交易团和境外交易团等14个交易团组成。其
中联合交易团的成员来自非中国华东地区的全国19个省市自治区和8个城市；境外交易团
的展商来自日本、美国、英国、波兰、法国、德国、土耳其、澳大利亚、韩国、新加坡、
和中国香港、台湾等17个国家和地区。
许多境外展商来到华交会，既获取订单，销售自己的产品；也从其它展商处采购到
需要的商品，他们同时兼有供应商和采购商双重身份。他们认为，华交会能使他们的双
重任务都完成得很好。

There were 5346 standard booths in this ECF with more than
3540 exhibitors.
The exhibitors came from 12 provinces and cities in the area of East China and
19 provinces and cities in the rest area of China. There were also overseas
exhibitors came from 17 countries and areas, such as Japan, United States, UK,
Poland, France, Germany, Turkey, Australia, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan.Many overseas exhibitors played
two roles in this fair. They were not only
suppliers but also purchasers as they purchased commodities from other exhibitors.
They believed that the East China Fair is such an ideal place for fulfilling
their achievements.

四、 交易情况分析Transaction Analysis
本届华交会的会期六天，总成交额达332,119万美元，比上届增长11.68%。其中纺织
服装类成交186,842万美元，比上届增长5.05％；礼品日用品类成交135，652万美元，比
上届增长19.23％。
The ECF 2006 lasted 6 days.
The amount of trade deals reached US＄3,321.19
million, 11.68% increased than last year. Among which, the transaction on
textile and garment reached US＄1,868.42 million, increased
5.05%; the transaction
on art gifts and consumer goods reached US＄1,356.52 million, increased
19.23%
