一、概况Briefing
第18届中国华东进出口商品交易会于2008年3月1日至5日在上海新国际博览中心举行。展览总面积为10.35万平方米，与上届相同。设服装、家用纺织品、装饰礼品和日用消费品（下设电子消费品专区）四大展区。设置标准展位5346个，参展企业3592家。在5天的展期中，到会境外客商共计19,263人，其中新客商7440人，占比达到38.62%。 成交金额36.78亿美元，比上届增长3.52％。
The 18th East China Fair (2008 Shanghai) was held in Shanghai New International Expo Center from March 1st to 5th 2008. The exhibition halls were separated into four parts as Garments, Home Textiles, Art Deco Gifts, Consumer Goods (including Electronic Consumer Goods sector), covering an area of 103,500 square meters and having 3,592 exhibitors with 5,346 standard booths in the fair. It received 19,263 merchants from overseas, and among which 7,440 are new merchants. Within the 5 show days, the total amount of trade deals was US＄3,678 millions, up 3.52% over the previous year.
二、 境外客商分析 Overseas Merchant Analysis
本届华交会共计接待境外客商19,263人，来自145个国家和地区。其中亚洲到会客商高居首位， 到会12,392人，欧洲到会客商3,555人， 北美洲到会客商2,217人 。
在光临本届华交会的国际买家中，有93个洽谈团组是由23个国家的政府部门或专业协会专门组织前来。
The 18th ECF attracted 19,263 overseas merchants, who come from 145 countries and regions. As statistics, 12,392 Asian merchants came to the Fair, which was the largest group. The next one was 3,555 from Europe and 2,217 from North America.
Among them, 93 delegations organized by 23 foreign governments and associations came to ECF for purchase and negotiation.

三、参展商分析 Exhibitor Analysis
本届华交会设置标准展位5346个，参展企业3592家。参加本届华交会的展商由9个主办省市交易团、3个组团城市交易团、联合交易团和境外交易团等14个交易团组成。其中联合交易团的成员来自非中国华东地区的全国19个省市自治区和8个城市；境外交易团的展商来自美国、法国、意大利、加拿大、日本、韩国、中国香港和中国台湾等8个国家和地区，许多境外展商来到华交会，既获取订单，销售自己的产品；也从其它展商处采购到需要的商品，他们同时兼有供应商和采购商双重身份。他们认为，华交会能使他们的双重任务都完成得很好。

There were 5,346 standard booths in this ECF with 3,592 exhibitors. The exhibitors came from 12 provinces and cities in the area of East China and 27 provinces and cities in the rest area of China. There were also overseas exhibitors came from 8 countries and regions, such as United States, France, Italy, Canada, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
Many overseas exhibitors played two roles in this fair. They were not only suppliers but also purchasers as they purchased commodities from other exhibitors. They believed that the East China Fair is such an ideal place for fulfilling their achievements.

四、 交易情况分析Transaction Analysis
本届华交会的会期五天，总成交额达367,783万美元，比上届增长3.52%。其中纺织服装类成交184,383万美元，比上届减少0.54％；轻工工艺类成交159451万美元，比上届增长1.65％；其他类商品成交23949万美元，比上届增长84.3%。
The ECF 2008 lasted 5 days. The amount of trade deals reached US＄3,677.83 million, 3.52% increased than last year. Among which, the transaction on textile and garment reached US＄1,843.83million, decreased 0.54%; the transaction on art gifts and consumer goods reached US＄1,594.51 million, increased 1.65%; the transaction on other goods reached US＄239.49 million, increased 84.3%.
