The East China Fair 2006 Osaka Accomplished

To further expand the overseas influence and develop the East China Fair brand, the East China Fair (2006 Osaka)was held successfully by the joint efforts of municipalities who front for and make the group in the Osaka International Expo Center from Nov.28th to Dec.1st,2006, where was hosted by the East China Fair Working Committee and Osaka international and domestic committee. According to the items on display,there are two exposition areas with 543 booths including textiles and garments booths and commodities and decorations booths,covering an exhibition area of 12000sqm.

The ECF in Osaka is the largest regional trade fair with greatest numbers of municipal and provincial exhibitors China has ever held abroad.Within 4 days,over 8000 travelling merchants and business visitors were attracted,most of whom were specialized merchants from Japan.Wholeshalers and logistic merchants account for 51.6% of total business visitors,the trade corporations account for 31.7%,retail merchants account for 4.4&,and the rest account for 12.3%.

The entire trade volume amounted to about 75.37 million US dollars. The textiles and garments deals contributed 45.88 million US dollars,account for 60.9% of the total volume,compared with 39.1% of 29.49 million US dollar of the commodity and decoration products.
