Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) is a joint enterprise between Shanghai
Pudong Land Development (Holding) Corporation and the world leading Fairs of Hannover,
Dusseldorf
and Munchen from
Germany
. It is located in the economic, financial and trade centre of
Shanghai
in the People's Republic of
China
. The excellent facilities and services provided by SNIEC make it the best venue
for domestic and foreign exhibitors to stage all types of exhibitions.
Shanghai New International Expo Centre is designed by Murphy/Jahn Inc. Architects
from the
United States
, with the design concept of aiming at simplicity, clarity and high efficiency.
After completion, SNIEC will comprise seventeen Exhibition Halls and one Tower of
a total area of 250,000sqm, of which 200,000sqm is indoor and 50,000sqm outdoor.
The first phase of SNIEC has seven halls and one entrance lobby, the exhibition
area reaches 80,500sqm indoor and 50,000sqm outdoor.
Each Exhibition Hall measures 11457 (70m×85m). The service zones are located at both ends
of the hall. Shops are located both opposite the arcade and between the halls. The
Exhibition Halls are column-free with a clear height of
11m
. The halls are equipped with partitions, truck access, floor loading, utilities
offices, snack bars, restaurants and crate storage.
The bright and impressive Entry Lobby in SNIEC can be used for registration, information
service or for coffee breaks and business discussions. It is designed to ensure
the smooth flow of visitors to different halls. High and spacious, the Exhibition
Halls are well equipped with advanced facilities to satisfy diverse exhibition requirements.
To provide customers with a whole range of excellent services, Shanghai New International
Expo Centre houses business centre, post office, bank, Customs office, forwarder,
courier and advertising agency under one roof. In addition, in the vicinity of SNIEC,
there is a subway station (line 2) and several public bus services (including Bridge
Line 5 & 6, Line Dongchuan, and line Shen-Qing).
The arrival of Shanghai New International Expo Centre will provide a new stage for
